My client is seeking a senior procurement specialist to work on a large construction and facilities upgrade programme in a permanent position. You will be responsible for operational delivery and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders including construction professionals to support infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Manage procurement processes for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Strategic supplier relationship management and contract management
- Assist in maintaining documentation archives for audit purposes.
- Provide effective communication and presentation of project updates and findings.
- Managing the end to end procurement process
- Focusing on operational delivery and contribute to the development of policies,
procedures, systems.
The ideal candidate will have end to end procurement experience ideally within the construction or infrastructure space. In addition to this you will have:
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different project environments
- Knowledge of NZS3910:2013 and its execution
- An interest in construction or infrastructure
