Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Contract role
Our Client is looking at hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to supplement the existing teams in relation to Network, Gateway, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud Operations. This is a 6-month contract role based in Wellington. All candidates should have a valid work visa. Secret Clearance required.
Deliverables:
- Design in detail and implement connection from restricted network
- Implement custom flows within the Cross Domain Solution for information exchange
- Build and configure virtual machines on host server
- Configure switches and firewalls
- Rack network hardware for various classifications
- Implement LAN/WAN connectivity
- Produce patching schedule
- Commission switches, firewalls, and INEs
- Validate switch port connectivity
- Build resilient Gateway interface and apply firewall rules
- Raise and obtain Change Control approvals
- Remediate penetration test findings
- Enable PKI certificates
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience developing and updating network/gateway solution designs.
- Juniper Network Certified Professional (JNCIP level) or similar working experience
- Palo Alto Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or similar working experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong agile experience
- DevSecOps experience desirable
- ITIL qualifications, or demonstrable skill in ITIL
