In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers. This position calls for a developer who has a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and is willing to take the lead on various projects, ensuring that best practices are followed and that issues are anticipated and addressed proactively.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Android applications for a wide range of devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability through best coding practices.
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Android technology and best practices.
- Participate in the architectural design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS application development.
- Expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages and their respective frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, as well as Android SDK.
- Strong understanding of mobile app design patterns, principles, and user interface guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
