About the Role
Take ownership of security initiatives, manage Azure security services, and implement robust network and application security measures. Collaborate with development and IT teams to secure the SDLC. Report to the Head of Security, working cross-functionally across departments.

Duties
- Manage Azure security services, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Active Directory (AAD) Identity Protection, and the Microsoft Defender Suite.
- Implement, configure, and maintain network firewalls.
- Enhance and secure the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by enforcing security best practices.
- Support security monitoring and alerting systems, such as Elastic SIEM or Splunk.
- Assist in strengthening email security through tools like Mimecast or Proofpoint.
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in security-focused roles, such as Security Engineer, SOC Analyst, or Application Security (AppSec) Specialist.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure security services, including Microsoft Azure, SIEM tools, Sentinel, GitHub, Docker, Azure Active Directory, and Fortinet.
- Proven experience in managing and configuring network security firewalls.
- Strong understanding of SDLC security practices and principles.
