We are currently seeking casual teachers to join our reliever pool and work across multiple early childhood centres in Queenstown & Wanaka. As a reliever, you will be on an as needed basis to cover staff absences and provide high quality care and education to children aged 0 - 5 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and engaging with young children and ensuring a safe learning environment for all children
• Follow existing lesson plans and facilitate play/learning activities
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a smooth transition for children
• Maintain a clean environment and ensure classroom is safe for children
• Being adaptable and responsive to varying needs of children and the centres themselves

Requirements

• ECE or Primary NZ recognised qualification or overseas equivalent as assessed by NZQA (Level 7+)
• Current NZ teachers registration
• Valid NZ work rights
