We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to full fill a 12 month fixed term contract within a well established procurement team.

In this role, you will:

Lead strategic procurement activities
Use your experience and knowledge to identify potential suppliers, assess industry trends, and provide insights to inform strategic procurement decisions.
Prepare and run RFPs, RFIs etc
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide strategic commercial advice.
Manage the evaluation of supplier proposals & monitor supplier performance
Use your previous experience to support the team and uplift the procurement capability

You will excel in this role if you have:

Previous government procurement experience, leading the end to end procurement process
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
A collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
A commitment to continuous improvement and best practices.
