This role is all about enabling high performance. You’ll provide confidential, high-level executive and administrative support to Tier 2 leaders across Māori Partnerships and Science functions. You’ll be the go-to person behind the scenes, helping leaders stay organised, informed, and focused on strategic priorities.
Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and support internal and external engagements
Prepare documentation including board and executive papers
Liaise confidently with stakeholders across the organisation and externally
Organise travel and events, and manage correspondence with professionalism and discretion
Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes
Handle confidential and urgent matters with care and sound judgment
Proven experience in a senior PA or executive support role
Exceptional organisation, communication, and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document systems (e.g., SharePoint)
A proactive, can-do attitude with an eye for detail
Experience with event management and financial administration
A commitment to continuous learning, including cultural development in a Te Tiriti context
