We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office and Accounts Manager to take full responsibility for all office processes and systems. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing administrative functions, payroll, and supporting the team with high-level organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, financial management, and excellent interpersonal abilities to engage with staff at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Oversee general office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace.
- Organise events and office activities.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and operational.
- Handle correspondence and administrative support.
- Answer the phones and greet visitors.
- Support HR functions such as on boarding new employees and maintaining personnel files and H&S.
- Liaise with external suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial and administrative regulations.
- Process weekly payroll and maintain employee records.
- Accounts payable, invoicing and bank reconciliations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office administration and financial management.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MYOB
- Experience in payroll
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with HR processes and compliance.
