The Role:
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will:
... - Teach Mathematics across Years 9-13, including NCEA Levels 1-3.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential, including preparation for NCEA assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities that enrich student learning.
What They're Looking For:
- A degree in teaching (NZQA level 7+) & NZ teachers registration
- NCEA Mathematics knowledge would be preferable (or willingness to learn for overseas applicants).
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student success.
- A commitment to Māori and Pasifika education and an inclusive approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
