The Role:

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will:

• Teach Mathematics across Years 9-13, including NCEA Levels 1-3.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Support students in achieving their academic potential, including preparation for NCEA assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities that enrich student learning.

What They're Looking For:

• A degree in teaching (NZQA level 7+) & NZ teachers registration
• NCEA Mathematics knowledge would be preferable (or willingness to learn for overseas applicants).
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student success.
• A commitment to Māori and Pasifika education and an inclusive approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
