About the Role
We are looking for a Learning & Development Advisor to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term, 6-month contract. In this role, you will be the key contact for our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that training materials are up to date, assigned to the right audiences, and aligned with role requirements across New Zealand, the US, and Canada. You’ll also play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of learning initiatives to enhance employee capability and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
... LMS Administration – Maintain, update, and assign courses to employees, ensuring compliance with role-based training requirements.
Learning & Development Support – Conduct training needs analysis, provide expert L&D advice, and support the design and implementation of initiatives.
Program Facilitation – Develop and deliver training workshops and forums to enhance skills and drive a strong learning culture.
System Optimisation – Actively engage with the LMS, seeking improvements and efficiency.
Collaboration – Work closely with the Team Lead – Learning & Development to align training programs with business needs.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, SOPs, and correct PPE use.
Travel – Domestic and international travel may be required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about learning and development. You will ideally have:
A Bachelor’s degree in HR or an equivalent qualification
1-2 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or a related field
Proficiency in Camtasia and Storyline Articulate
Experience in developing and facilitating workshops and training forums
Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and the ability to learn new applications quickly
Knowledge of Adobe, Photoshop, or other creative platforms
A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation
A positive, approachable attitude, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
