This role is for someone who is proactive and willing to ‘give things a go’. The position will prioritise ensuring effective processes and provide opportunity for the right candidate to advance their accounting knowledge.

Key responsibilities:

• Process all regular payment runs and review for accuracy.
• Ensure timely and efficient payment processing, approval of supplier invoices.
• Ownership of the finance mailbox, ensuring prompt response to queries
• Assist the Finance team with ad hoc reporting on business functions.
• Process bank reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are cleared.
• Process payroll functions, reviewing and understanding for variances.
• Provide back-up to other functions within Finance.
• Work collaboratively ensuring effective working relationships across the wider organisation.
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong relationship building skills.

Proven processing experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll is required. Experience with various accounting and payroll software systems is highly desirable.
