My client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead a high performing finance function within the public sector. You would be responsible for managing both the financial reporting and also the budgeting and forecasting function. Ideally you will be a strong all round accountant that provides strong leadership and also is able to provide strategic advice to the organisation.
In this role, you will:
... - Manage financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and ensure accurate financial information is provided for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee financial systems and processes, including month-end procedures and the financial management information system.
- Provide specialist financial knowledge and expertise to business groups across the organisation.
- Lead and develop a high performing finance team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CA membership or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience with financial management information systems.
- Strong management experience ideally within a public sector organisation
