About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Faiaoga to work in our pepe room, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and learning opportunities for our youngest tamaiti. This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive environment with a strong focus on fa’a Samoa. This centre is deeply committed to reviving and maintaining the richness of the Samoan language, culture, and heritage.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Level 4 (or higher) Early Childhood qualification and full faiaoga registration.
- Fluency in Samoan, with a deep understanding of Samoan language, values, and traditions.
- A nurturing and caring approach, especially with pepe (babies).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with tamaiti, aumea, and aiga.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, culturally responsive early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a Samoan language and cultural context.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with tamaiti and aiga.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for tamaiti in the pepe room (babies room).
- Support tamaiti to grow their sense of identity, belonging, and confidence within the context of fa’a Samoa.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to uphold the values of the centre.
