Hourly Rate: $26 - $31 per hour

The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our pepe room (babies room). You will play a key role in creating a nurturing, culturally rich, and engaging learning environment for our youngest tamaiti.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Early Childhood qualification and teachers registration
- Fluency in Samoan, with a deep understanding of fa’a Samoa (preferred)
- A nurturing and caring approach, especially with babies
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with tamaiti, aumea, and aiga
- A commitment to providing high-quality, culturally responsive early learning experiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a Samoan language and cultural context
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with tamaiti and aiga
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment in the pepe room
- Support tamaiti in developing their sense of identity, belonging, and confidence
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to uphold the values of our centre
