Are you an experienced HR professional with a proven ability to shape people strategies and drive business outcomes? We are seeking a flexible Business Partner People and Culture for a full-time role based in Wellington. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leadership teams and contribute to the development of creating an impact within people strategy.
About the role:
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert advice, coaching, and leadership to Regional Managers and Front line Leaders. Your focus will be on ensuring the effective adoption of people strategies, plans, and workforce objectives that align with the organisation’s long-term goals. You’ll work collaboratively to improve processes and systems to ensure the efficient delivery of People and Culture services, while also ensuring compliance and alignment with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
... - To work closely with Regional Managers and Front line Leaders to provide strategic people leadership and coaching.
- Provide expert advice on people-related issues to build leadership capability and ensure strong team performance.
- Assess and enhance processes, systems, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the P&C team
- Ensure all people and culture initiatives are compliant with relevant laws and aligned with industry best practices.
- Actively contributes to the strategic and operational direction of the region whilst ensuring it aligns with the overall business strategy
- Collaborate with the wider P&C team to deliver initiatives that contribute to business success.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 - 3 years HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of business and people strategy.
- Experience within the health sector but not essential
- Coaching and advising leaders to develop high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practice people management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and work closely with leadership teams at all levels.
