I am working with a dedicated public service organisation to find an experienced senior procurement or commercial specialist. Joining a tight-knit team of 8 experienced procurement professionals you will be rewarded with a diverse work load and opportunities that can really challenge and develop your skills.

In this role, work on the end to end procurement process for a number of diverse procurement projects.

In addition to this you will;

Design, lead and guide the end to end procurement process
Contribute to the procurement planning, sourcing and manage risk for the organisation.
Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
Become a trusted advisor for strategic procurement and commercial standards & practices
Driving organisational effectiveness
Support in reviewing the supplier diversity strategy.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a senior procurement specialist or a commercial business partner. With proven experience in managing the end to end procurement process.

You will have experience in the following:

Identifying procurement risks and opportunities to develop sourcing strategies.
Identify and lead continuous improvement activities.
Guide stakeholders on best practice supplier relationship and contract management.
Building relationships & confidence with internal stakeholders
Support commercial capability development.

What can you expect?

Salary range: $125,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
