  • Key Account Management – overall administration and account hygiene
  • Knowledge of clients’ overall business
  • Build and own strong positive relationships with clients at various levels of the client’s organisation
  • Work with clients on both strategic long term and short term marketing plans and projects
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in use and/or up-selling organization's solutions
  • Represent client’s marketing requirements to non-technical and technical colleagues
  • Maintain a Client Account Plan for nominated clients


  • Demonstrate thorough understanding and application of organization's solutions and services
  • Represent organization's solutions to non-technical and technical client staff
  • Effective and qualified use of organization's technical and non-technical colleagues in client facing situations and internal client planning sessions
  • Identify training/knowledge needs for clients, colleagues and self


  • Develop knowledge of the market in which clients operate, including their competitors and potential business challenges
  • Develop a sound understanding of the digital marketing landscape, trends and opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of competitors and organization's competitive positioning
  • Attend recommended Marketing Association and other relevant industry events


  • Provide leadership and support for Relationship Managers and other members of the wider team
  • Adhere to agreed workflow systems & time tracking management practices
  • Provide required weekly and/or monthly report of activities
  • Log any bugs or feature requests in the relevant reporting system (Jira)
  • Ensure client’s support tickets are resolved in a fast and professional manner and comply with published Service Level Agreements.
  • Complete time sheets


  • Contribution to achieving financial targets by client
  • Ensure client’s account and contact details are up to date in relevant systems
  • Ensure application of relevant commercial terms and conditions to individual client cases
  • Ensure timely preparation and completeness of time and job recording for on-time and accurate billing purposes


  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts – HTML, Javascript, Flash, XML and programming languages - would be advantageous.
  • Strong digital experience – understanding of digital marketing, and technology
  • Experience of working in a client management role
  • Prior line management experience
  • Experience in project management or business analysis would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
